Youth Coordinator – Ben Randall Church Office: 8331 3914 E: firstname.lastname@example.org I grew up attending a Uniting church near home with my mum and older brother and younger sister, attending kids club and youth before drifting from the church in my early 20’s. I spent nearly 10 years without a home church and rarely attended any form of church. Towards the end of that time I was looking for a church to return to and was asked to assist with a church play at Burnside City, at which point I felt called to return to church and start worshipping at Burnside City at the start of 2012. I was asked to join the youth leadership team soon after and very quickly formed a good bond with the youth and other leaders. Feeling called to take my leadership further I stepped into the role of coordinator when it was vacated the following year. Since then I have added different aspects to the way youth runs with study groups, combined youth & junior church events and started a youth camp. I have a great passion for youth and enjoy running the events for them. I feel that the fellowship within the group is important and strive to keep the group well connected with each other, the leaders and the wider church community.
My involvement with youth has also seen my meet my now wife Sarah who was a fellow youth leader when I started. Her passion for youth ministry and the work I do with the youth has been a huge encouragement for me and sees me always reaching for new heights and keeping my grounded and focused through the tough times that come with youth ministry.
Outside of church I am involved in a family business running a small independent hardware store. We have been in business for over 10 years and have grown the business much in that time. I am part of a close knit family with an older brother and a younger sister, and am the proud uncle to children of my siblings.
