Giving is an essential part of what it means to be a Christian

The Scriptures say:

Each person should give what they have decided in their heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7

Happiness lies more in giving than in receiving Acts 20:35

Why does the church require Planned Giving?

Planned Giving supports all aspects of the church including:

  • Mission and outreach programs
  • Children and Family Ministry Coordinator, young people, pastoral care, worship and outreach
  • Ordained and lay Ministerial costs, stipends and allowances, ministry support
  • Administration, communications and advertising
  • Allocations to Synod and 3Dnet
  • Facilities/Utilities (gas, electricity, water etc)
