Worship this Week

This Sunday we have the third sermon in our ten week series “Stories Every Christian Needs to Know”.   Rob will be telling the story of David & Bathsheba – a story of great sin and its consequences, but also of repentance and hope.

New COVID-Safe Seating Plan

We have a new seating arrangement in the Worship Space. The seats along rows are now placed close together as they used to be before COVID.  Family and household members are asked to sit together as a group and leave two empty seats between your group and the next.  This will ensure that we can fit people in the space better and more naturally while still maintaining the required 1.5 metre separation between groups.

Delve Deeper…

All of our existing bible study groups and some new ones are meeting to delve deeper into our Bible Stories sermon series.  There is still a place for you in these groups!  We have nine groups meeting at BCUC, in homes, and on Zoom.  You will find a group on any weekday, daytime or evening, in English or Mandarin.  To see an updated list of these study groups with further details on when, where, and who to contact, click this link.

Benji on Leave

Benji is on leave all this week and will be returning for next Sunday’s service to tell us the fourth story in our sermon series.

Sunday 4pm Service Ending

Our Sunday 4pm service will no longer be held after this week (September 27 is the last service).  The time slot has not been popular with our congregation and we really hope those of you who have enjoyed this service will find a new home in our Sunday 10am service or Monday noon service.

Daylight Saving Time Starts next Sunday

Set your clock forward one hour next Saturday so you don’t miss our 10am Sunday Service!

Operation Christmas Child

Please join us to pack the shoeboxes on Monday September 28th at 9.30am in the Hall. This is an opportunity to not only send small gifts to children in developing countries, but  to tell them of God’s love for them.
