BICC Quiz Night Results
This year we have raised $7,290 to support chaplaincy in our local schools.  A Huge thanks to all the many people who made that possible. The evening was marked by the friendly spirit and relaxed enjoyment. It was a wonderful night.

BCUC Saturday Friendship Club
The next meeting of the club will be on August 17. Helen Brooks will give a talk, with visuals about a trip she took to Europe and England with her granddaughter. Usual 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start; basket supper. Visitors welcome.

Finals Fever!!
The minor round for BCUC’s 5 netball teams finished last week and we have 3 teams in the finals.  Congratulations to the B1, B4 and D3 teams who made it into finals and well done to the other two teams who improved consistently throughout the year and finished strongly.

BCUC Netball End-of Season  Celebration and Trophy Presentation
Sunday, August 18, 5 – 7:30pm at BCUC.  $10 per person/$5 for 10 years and under. Dinner provided.  Rsvp to bcucnc@gmail.com  by August 11.

Oodnadatta Building Fund
Many thanks for your combined generosity. Over the last few weeks $1922.50 has been donated to the Oodnadatta Building Fund making the goal of a church building at Oodnadatta all the more achievable. Seniors Second Sunday Lunch
Next Sunday (Aug 11) at noon. Come and join us for friendship, fun and food. Chicken & Salad plus a fruit platter.

Monday Day Fellowship
August 5 at 1:30pm. Supporting the Sammy Di Foundation – educating both parents and children on the impact of violence and how it may be prevented. A donation of $5 is asked in support of this appeal. All members are encouraged to attend and the congregation is most welcome. Afternoon tea will be supplied and has been organised by the committee.
