Giving packs regarding Transformation 2020 are available in the foyer for you to take away. It would be appreciated if you are able to deliver any to people who are not here this week. Any enquiries regarding giving may be directed to the Recorder at the Sunday church services.
Hospitality Sunday : June 30th
This event is a wonderful opportunity to share lunch in each other’s homes. Please consider participating or hosting a group of people in your home. Families are most welcome. Sign up sheets are available in the foyer today. Transport can be arranged. More details in June CHATS.
Hizbiz
Hizbiz men will meet at the Marryatville Hotel for their usual monthly 12 noon lunch meal on Tuesday June 25. Please contact Leigh Duffett or Rex King if you plan to attend.
3Dnet Celebration at BCUC
BCUC will be hosting a final 3Dnet gathering on Thursday June 27, 6pm at BCUC. This night will be a time of feasting, worship and prayer. Dinner provided by Adelaide Woodfired Pizza and Rev Josh Scherer will be leading in worship. Anyone that attends BCUC can come celebrate with us. RSVP @ https://3dnet.org.au.
Monday Day Fellowship : Birthday Meeting – July 1st
It will be a pleasant afternoon with lovely entertainment by Louise, followed by a Devonshire afternoon tea commencing at 1:30pm. Members are encouraged to bring a friend or invite a member of the congregation. You will receive a warm welcome.
Alpha at BCUC
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs in cafés, churches, universities, homes – you name it. Alpha is coming to BCUC with the first session on Wednesday July 31 at noon. Signup in the foyer after service on Sunday.
BICC Quiz Night
Raising funds for Chaplaincy in local schools. The Burnside Inter-Church Council is hosting its annual Quiz night at BCUC on Friday July 26. Arrive at 7:15pm. Tickets are $20 and are available from Rex King or the office; BYO drinks, nibbles, & coins.
