Federal Election on May 18
We will once again be running a cake stall, plant stall and Sausage Sizzle.  If you enjoy cooking, your cakes, slices etc can be left at Church on Friday, May 17 from 4pm, or brought on Saturday morning from 8am.

Rob on Leave
Rob is on leave from Saturday 11th May. He will return to us on Tuesday 4th June.

Community Fete
BCUC Junior Church are holding a Community Fete on Sunday May 26 to raise funds for  Backpacks 4 SA Kids.  They really need your help and support and would love to tell you more about it, so please ask them at the sign-up table in the foyer today. If you can help on the day, or to book a car boot space/stall ring Nikki.

BCUC Saturday Friendship Club
The next meeting of the Sat Friendship club is at 8pm on May 18. Daryl & Wendy Teauge will speak about their time in 2017 with “Surgeons Without Borders” in Malawi and Zimbabwe. There will be the usual basket supper and visitors are welcome. As it is election night, the meeting will be in the worship area.

Surprise the World!
We are in the second week of this small group and sermon study. Around ninety people within eight small groups are taking part.  Its not too late to jump into one of these groups.  Families with children are encouraged to come to the Saturday at 5 meeting at Benji’s house.  There are also newly formed groups on Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon.  For further information on joining a small group, or to pick up a study guide talk to Stuart or Benji.

Monday Day Fellowship – Annual Fundraiser Film Day
The movie Red Joan starring Tom Hughes and Dame Judy Dench is showing at the Regal on Monday June 24. 90:45 morning tea; 10:30 film.  Tickets $15 from Ruth Daws or Fellowship Members.  We encourage you to support this  fundraiser.

Frontier Services Mission – Collection for Packing Day
New and second-hand clothing suitable for tropical places is needed. Blankets and warmer clothing are needed for cold winter nights. Also sheets, pillow cases, curtains, towels, rugs.  For Old Timers Fete, Alice Springs:- New items for work stall, hand crafted items and gift packs.  Goods can be left in the marked boxes in BCUC foyer until Friday May 31.
