Missionary Visit
Austin House, of Farthest Corners Ministry in Burma and Thailand, will be speaking at a combined morning tea between the 9:00am and 10:30am services, on Sunday, November 4, in the foyer. 


BCUC Saturday Friendship Club
The October club meeting is on the 20th and we have engaged “The Cantorae singing group”.  It will be a time of harmony & humour. Usual $3 donation. 7:15pm for a 7:30 start. Basket  supper and  visitors welcome.


Operation Christmas Child
An excited group of 22 people, including nine children packed 164 shoeboxes of gifts for OCC this past week. Many thanks to everyone who assisted on the day, packed their own box or made generous donations of items and money. These 164 children will also have the opportunity hear about Jesus and his love for them. 


Elder/Church Councillor  Nominations
Nominations are open for Elders /Church Councillors. If you feel that God is calling you to serve BCUC in this role, please pick up an information sheet and nomination form in the foyer. Nominations close on October 28.


Mission Trust Fund Nominations
Nominations are open for members of the Mission Trust Fund. Interested BCUC Members may pick up a  nomination form in the foyer. Nominations close on October 28.


BCUC Cares – Christmas Hamper
Uniting Communities at Clayton Wesley Church appreciates all hamper items donated for families in need.  Hamper donations may be placed in the usual marked boxes in the church foyer, now through  December 16. Thank you for sharing the many blessings God has so generously given us. Suggested Christmas Hamper items include:

Christmas Cake/Pudding
Coffee, Tea, Milo, Soft Drinks
Longlife Custard
Biscuits/Cracker, Chips/Lollies
Canned Fruit/Vegetables
Canned Tuna, Ham or Turkey
Spreads, Soup, Cereal
Other non-perishable foods
Toys
Toiletries (ongoing great need)
