Pastoral Contact Afternoon Tea
Members serving as a Pastoral Contact are invited to an appreciation afternoon tea at BCUC at 2:30pm, October 7.  Ian Olver will be speaking on the topic “What I learned from people with Cancer”. This will be a very informative afternoon and we encourage you to attend. Please RSVP to Ruth, Di, or Marie by October 2. 

Church Council Meeting
Tuesday September 26. 6:30pm devotions 7:00pm meeting held in the Beaumont Room on the first floor. All invited to attend this meeting to observe. Previous CC minutes available at reception.

Women’s Ministry
The Women’s Ministry Group invites all Women to a free Pancake Brunch on Wednesday October 10 at 9:30am at the home of Ruth Daws. Donations will go to the Frontier Services Drought Support Appeal. Please RSVP to Ruth Daws by October 5 to book you place.

Operation Christmas Child
This year’s shoebox project is well underway.  Boxes & brochures are available if you wish to make up a box on your own. You may prefer to buy items or make a monetary donation. Packing day is Monday October 8 from 9:30am. Enquiries to Di.

Monday Day Fellowship
On October 8, we will be taking a bus trip to Tickle Tank home and garden in Mount Barker.  Be at the church at 12:45pm.  Cost $22.  Please contact Ruth Daws for more information.
