Special Meeting
In response to an issue raised at CHATS Live on August 26, we will be holding a meeting on September 19 at 7:00pm.  Those concerned about the UCA Assembly’s decision on same gender marriage are invited to this meeting to discuss their concerns with Church Council.


Giving 2018/19
At the CHATS Live forum on August 20, three pamphlets were distributed outlining giving proposals. If you did not receive these, please ask the Worship Hosts for copies.


Saturday Night Friendship Club
For our next meeting on September 15, Dr Stephen Carthew will be giving a presentation on the underrated Sir Hubert Wilkins. Stephen has a great knowledge of Sir Hubert. 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start. Basket supper. Visitors welcome.


Family Fun @ 5
Saturday September 22nd  5-7pm
A Reminder for families to come and bring friends! Can you help with the running of FF@5? Can you come at  4:00-7:15pm or part of the time? In the kitchen, with craft, talking to families, setting up and cleaning up.  Please sign up on the forms in the foyer after church. If you have any questions, speak to Leonie, Heather or Chris.


Community Outreach – Help Needed
Staff Appreciation Tea, Marryatville HS
BCUC is hosting a Staff Appreciation Morning Tea at Marryatville High School. Please help support this event by providing a plate of savoury or sweet items.  Deliver your food items to BCUC on Wednesday September 12 between 8:30am and 10:00am.

Members serving as a Pastoral Contact are invited to an appreciation afternoon tea at BCUC at 2:30pm, October 7.  Ian Olver will be speaking on the topic “What I learned from people with Cancer”.
