Beyond Sunday
BCUC has a lot going on throughout the week to enrich your relationship with God and His people...
Small Groups
Want to get to know other people in the congregation while wrestling with how faith and life connect?
Whatever your stage of discipleship, whatever your age or interest, we think small groups are a brilliant way to do just that. Remember Jesus started out in a small group too! We have a wide range of options including online and in-person, short-term or long-term. If you are interested in joining a small group please contact the Church office.

Friday Friendship Club
This group provides friendly, interesting afternoons once a month with speakers covering topics of general interest such as a country of the world, a topic of history, a music presentation, a theatre visit and Christmas dinner incorporating the AGM. Speakers usually talk for about an hour, followed by a short session of devotions. The gathering concludes with a shared afternoon tea supplied by the members.
This club is organised and run by a committee. The aim of the programme is for fellowship, fun, entertainment and learning. Generally, the group is patronised by older people, but everyone is very welcome. A contribution of $3 per person per meeting is requested.
when : 2:15pm for a 2:30pm start on the third Friday of the month.
Women's Ministry
Friendship, Fellowship, Fun, Food and Fundraising for mission are some of the key functions of the Women’s Ministry group who meet throughout the year at various times and locations.
As a group we continue to inspire, encourage, and support each other in our relationships, spiritual life, giftedness and our ministry and outreach in the local community and around the world.

Hizbiz - a Group for Men
This group meets for lunch at noon on the last Tuesday of the month except for December. The purpose and value of being part of the BCUC men’s luncheon group is about:
- Prayer—opening our gathering and giving our thanks for what we enjoy.
- Presence—enjoying fellowship and meeting with like-minded men with a common purpose.
- Partnerships—supporting & sharing with each other in a relaxed environment.
Come, share a good meal (discounted price) and be part of the camaraderie of Hizbiz at the Kensington Hotel, 23 Regent Street, Kensington. You are welcome to bring a friend.
Extol Choir
Do you love singing praise to the Lord? Join BCUC’s Extol Choir!
We are an all-ages choir. We practice in the Worship Space each Thursday night at 7pm. We sing at Worship on Sundays usually 2 to 3 times per month. Talk to Benji or any other choir member on Sunday to find out more.
