A great mixing pot of interesting people striving to listen and respond to God by the grace of God. Faithful and Spirit-led leadership is offered in many areas from kids, youth, facilities, communications, eldership/church council, worship, small groups, finances, pastoral care, prayer and many more.  
 
 
 
 

Benji is enjoying the wonderful adventure ride of being married with three boys. While experiencing the joy of studying the majestic world inside the cell as a molecular biologist, he pursued a nagging call to full-time ministry in the Uniting Church. Now he loves seeing people grow with God, which he does mostly as the minister at Burnside City Uniting Church. He has been passionate about Jesus, the church being a place of hope that grows amazing disciples of Christ and loves to help others know the abundant life that Jesus has on offer for everyone. With a zest for much of life, he keeps getting told he’s “very creative”. . .

Rob is a pastor, preacher and teacher. Using these gifts, he encourages people to realise their uniqueness in Christ and what this may mean in their daily lives. Rob has had a passion for Christians to fulfil Jesus’ prayer ‘that they may be one’. Rob is married to Colette. They have three adult sons and two grandchildren. In a past life he began his working career in the banking sector but God had other ideas. He has since had the privilege of serving the church in many ways including rural and city congregations and even a term as the Moderator of the Synod of South Australia.

Often one of the first joyful faces you see when you come along on Sunday’s. Nancy’s role is to help connect people and families into the life of the church and a relationship with Jesus. She is married with two amazing children and also has the delight of working as an educator at a child care centre for over 15 years. She responded to God's call to serve the children of God at BCUC as Connections Coordinator since July 2022.

Stuart has been the Administrator at BCUC since 2018. His background is in materials science and software development. Stuart thrives on the varied challenges of role and enjoys being involved in nearly all areas of the church's operations. He recognises that the church thrives on the efforts of its volunteers and feels that supporting them as they strive to raise children of God is a large part of his responsibility. Stuart is married to Christine and they have an adult son and daughter.
