Community Outreach – Help Needed
Staff Appreciation Tea, Marryatville HS
BCUC is hosting a Staff Appreciation Morning Tea at Marryatville High School (on behalf of the Burnside Interchurch Council). Are you able to support this event by providing a plate of savoury or sweet items? If so, please deliver your food items to BCUC on Wednesday September 12 between 8:30am and 10:00am. Thank you for your help!

Family Fun @ 5
will be on Saturday September 22.   Family Fun @ 5 is for children & their families. Craft and games are followed by an interactive story and a meal. Free. Book the date and tell your friends & family.


Seniors Second Sunday Lunch

Monday Day Fellowship
Our next meeting is Monday September 3  at 1.30 pm.  The speaker will be retired cardiologist Dr Robert Waltham who will discuss the topic of “How long will we live?”. We encourage all members to attend and invite a friend.  Please contact Ruth Daws for more information.


Saturday Night Friendship Club
Our next meeting will be on September 17.  The  speaker will be Dr Stephen Carthew who will be giving a presentation on the underrated Sir Hubert Wilkins. Stephen has a great knowledge of Sir Hubert. 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start. Basket supper. Visitors welcome.
